Top Tips for a Virgin Island Holiday Yacht Charter

As we head into the holiday season, many of us are thinking about where we want to spend our Christmas and New Year's vacations. If you're considering chartering a yacht in the British Virgin Islands or the US Virgin Islands, we wanted to share some tips with you.

First and foremost, Christmas and New Year's are peak times for chartering a yacht. That means that availability is limited and you'll need to book well in advance.

December 19th-26th are typically the dates for Christmas charters, while

December 27th-January 3rd are the dates for New Year's charters.

Keep in mind that the charter company will need a day between charters to get the boat ready for you. Also, nobody wants to end their charter on Christmas because traveling on that day is hard. It's hard to get taxis, lots of things are closed and it's just logistically very challenging.

December 27th is the most popular week of the year for yacht charters, and boats always sell out quickly. Prices for charters during this week are at a premium, with yachts being priced per boat rather than per person. So, if you're looking to save money, it's best to invite as many friends and family as possible to join in on the fun!

Options are getting fewer, so you'll need to act fast to secure the best yacht for your New Year's Eve party.

Finally, don't forget to relax and enjoy yourself! These charter vacations are meant to be a time to kick back and relax, so make sure to take advantage of that.

I hope these tips help you plan the perfect charter vacation in the Virgin Islands.
