What makes the British Virgin Islands such a great sailing destination?

They have more islands close to each other than anywhere else in the Caribbean. So you can island-hop all over the place and stay all within the same country, you don't need to go through customs everywhere you go. Also, the natural formation of the islands means that the waves break off the reef, but you still get good wind so you can sail in relatively flat water, with strong winds, which are ideal sailing conditions.

Also, they have legendary beach bars and restaurants, they have places that you just can't get to unless you were on a private yacht. There's not a lot of all-inclusive resorts or lots of other ways to get to these tiny islands. The only way to get there is on a private boat.

BVI has a wonderful weather all year round. It doesn't even get that hot in the summer with so much water surrounding an island and a strong breeze /trade wind blowing from the east. It never really gets too hot.

So come on down!
